SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Data reported to the Board of Medicine. Adds to the data required to be reported to the Board of Medicine any final orders of the Board that result in the denial, promotion, revocation, suspension or restriction of any license or that result in the reprimand or censure of any licensee. This bill also modifies the authorization to release any other information related to the competency of physicians or podiatrists that the Board may require by regulation to be reported; the Board must make such information only available upon a request from a consumer identifying the specific physician or podiatrist for whom the information is requested or in the aggregate without reference to any individual or identifying particulars as authorized pursuant to § 54.1-2400.3.
