SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Sales and use tax exemption; Friends of the Rappahannock. Provides a sales and use tax exemption beginning July 1, 2001, and ending July 1, 2006, to a nonprofit river conservation organization that is exempt from taxation pursuant to § 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and organized to protect the natural, scenic, recreational, and historical values of the Rappahannock River and its tributaries. This bill was incorporated into SB 965.
