SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Sales and use tax exemption; The Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC). Provides a sales and use tax exemption beginning July 1, 2001, and ending July 1, 2006, to a 501 (c) (3) organization organized to promote the preservation and use of archival and historical research materials and the professional education of its members through, including but not limited to, holding conferences and workshops and publishing newsletters and other written materials. This bill was incorporated into SB 965.
