SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Special license plates; vehicles used to transport persons with certain medical conditions. Authorizes issuance of special license plates for use on vehicles equipped, as authorized in § 46.2-1053, with window tinting darker than that allowed on vehicles used by the general public, because they are used to transport persons with medical conditions that renders them susceptible to harm or injury from exposure to sunlight or bright artificial light. Only vehicles bearing these special license plates would be allowed to drive on the public highways if equipped with the darker window tinting.
