SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Vehicle safety inspections; fees. Allows safety inspection stations to set their own fees for inspections, provided the fees are fair and reasonable, based on the service provided, and do not exceed $20 for inspection of a passenger car or $50 for inspection of a truck or passenger bus ($30 until July 1, 2002). This bill conflicts with HB 1627 (Black).
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
