SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Study; definition of manufacturers for BPOL tax purposes. Requests the Department of Taxation to conduct a study to clarify the definition of manufacturer for purposes of the business, professional, and occupational license tax. The Department is directed to report it findings to the Governor and the 2002 Session of the General Assembly.
