SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Appointment of standing grievance panel in certain counties. Provides that in any county with the county manager form of government (Henrico County), the final step of its grievance procedure shall provide for a hearing before an impartial panel consisting of one member appointed by the grievant, one member appointed by the county manager or his designee, and a third member appointed in a manner determined by the board of supervisors.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Appointment of standing grievance panel in certain counties. Provides that the board of supervisors of any county with the county manager form of government (Henrico County) may appoint a standing panel to hear the final step of employee grievances. General law calls for one member to be appointed by the grievant, one member to be appointed by the agency head, and one member to be appointed by the first two.
