SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Carnal knowledge of certain persons. Adds employees, contract employees and volunteers of the Department of Juvenile Justice, a secure facility or detention home and a state or local court services unit to those persons who are guilty of a Class 6 felony if they are in a position of authority over and carnally know without force, threat or intimidation any inmate, parolee, probationer, detainee or pretrial or posttrial offender.
SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Carnal knowledge of certain persons. Provides that any employee of the Department of Juvenile Justice who carnally knows any detainee in a secure juvenile facility or detention home is guilty of a Class 6 felony.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Carnal knowledge of certain persons. Provides that any person providing services or supervision to any ward, probationer or parolee who carnally knows any ward, probationer or parolee is guilty of a Class 6 felony. Currently, this section applies only to juveniles.
