Defines renewable energy as energy derived from sunlight, wind, falling water, sustainable biomass, energy from waste, wave motion, tides, and geothermal power, and excludes energy derived from coal, oil, natural gas or nuclear power. This is a recommendation of the Consumer Advisory Board established under the Electric Utility Restructuring Act.
