SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Transfer of state-responsible offenders to state facilities. Requires that beginning January 1, 2002, every state-responsible offender be transferred to the custody of the Department within sixty days of the date of the final order of sentencing; and, beginning January 1, 2003, every state-responsible offender be transferred to the custody of the Department within thirty days of the date of the final order of sentencing.
