SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Income tax; credits for solar energy. Provides an individual and corporate income tax credit equal to 35 percent of the costs of solar energy equipment placed in service for business purposes during the taxable year, up to $250,000 a year per taxpayer for taxable years beginning on and after January 1, 2002. The total amount of such credits for all taxpayers shall not exceed $10 million for any fiscal year.
