SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Payment for services to prisoners. Allows any sheriff or superintendent to require reimbursement of expenses for services provided to a prisoner beyond the usual prisoner's keep and medical treatment costs, including transportation expenses for the funeral of a family member, medical and other necessary appointments, and court appearances when the court facility is not adjacent to the local correctional facility.
