SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Commission; membership. Provides that appointments and reappointments of individual members of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Commission shall be made by the Governor from a list of at least three individuals provided by the local governing body for which the appointment or reappointment is being made. The bill also provides that elected officials of the Commonwealth or any political subdivision shall not be eligible for appointment to the Commission. The bill does not affect current members of the Commission whose terms have not expired as of July 1, 2001.
