HB 1850 Restricted license issuance following drug conviction.

Introduced by: Michele B. McQuigg | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Restricted license issuance following drug conviction. Adds two new options for a restricted license following a drug conviction which, if no restricted license were issued, would require forefeiture of one's driver's license for one year. The new options allow driving for the purpose of finding employment and in order to go to and from court-ordered community service. This provision also applies to a person who, though guilty, is not found guilty of a drug offense because of "first-offender" status. This bill was incorporated into HB 1833.
