SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Notification of reduction in force for teachers. Directs the Falls Church school board (the school board of a city that is adjacent to, but not completely surrounded by, a county having the urban county executive form of government (Fairfax)) to notify by May 15 those teachers who may be subject to a reduction in force due to a decrease in the school board's budget as approved by the appropriating body. Currently, the statute targets only the Prince William school board.
