Closing of district courts. Provides that the chief judge of a district court may authorize the office of the clerk of the court to be closed on the basis of a possible threat to the health or safety of the general public or the clerk’s staff.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Simultaneous closing of circuit and district courts. Provides that in any case when the office of the clerk of the circuit court of a jurisdiction is closed on the basis of a possible threat to the health or safety of the general public, the chief district court judge of the jurisdiction also shall close the district courts for the transaction of business.
