SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Banking-at-School Demonstration Program. Creates the Virginia Banking-at-School Demonstration Program to provide practical learning experiences to allow students to apply money management and personal finance skills; to assist them in understanding the American economic system, banking, finance, and investments; to explore entrepreneurship; and to explore and apply mathematical concepts used in the world of business and finance in a realistic setting. The provisions of the bill expire on July 1, 2005.
This bill is a recommendation of the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Status and Needs of African-American Males in Virginia.
