RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following interim appointments made by Governor James S. Gilmore III of certain agency heads:

AGENCY HEADS

Jeffrey D. Brown, Powers-Taylor Building, 13 South 13^th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industry, effective May 8, 2000, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor, to succeed John Mills Barr.

Jo Lynne DeMary, Monroe Building, 25^th Floor, 101 14^th North Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, Superintendent of Public Instruction, effective June 1, 2000, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor, to succeed Paul D. Stapleton.
