Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-742.1:1 as follows:

§ 46.2-742.1:1. Special license plates; persons awarded the Air Medal or the Air Medal with a "V" for valor.

On receipt of an application and written evidence that the applicant has been awarded an Air Medal or an Air Medal with a "V" for valor, the Commissioner shall issue to the applicant special license plates.
