VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 15.2-2157.1, relating to permit for septic tank installation in certain counties. [H 2358] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-2157.1 as follows:

§ 15.2-2157.1. Permit for septic tank installation in certain counties.

Any county with a population between 50,000 and 55,000 according to the 1990 United States Census may require any person desiring to install a septic tank to secure a permit to do so. Counties may prescribe reasonable fees, not to exceed fifty dollars, for the issuance of such permits.
