2001 SESSION
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 7 of Chapter 15 of Title 46.2 a section numbered 46.2-1573.01 as follows:
§ 46.2-1573.01. Recovery of attorney's fees.
The Commissioner may order any party to a proceeding under § 46.2-1573 who is found to have violated any provision of this article to pay the reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred by the complaining party. Prior to entry of such order, the Commissioner may take evidence from the interested parties regarding the reasonable amount of attorney's fees and costs to be so paid.
