CHAPTER 595 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 9 of Chapter 14 of Title 8.01 a section numbered 8.01-420.6, relating to number of witnesses whose depositions may be taken. [H 2372] Approved March 24, 2001

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 9 of Chapter 14 of Title 8.01 a section numbered 8.01-420.6 as follows:

§ 8.01-420.6. Number of witnesses whose depositions may be taken.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law or rule of court, there shall be no limit on the number of witnesses whose depositions may be taken by a party except by order of the court for good cause shown.
