CHAPTER 396 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 18.2-271.4, relating to Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP) case managers' oath of office. [S 1128] Approved March 20, 2001

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 18.2-271.4 as follows:

§ 18.2-271.4. Oath of office.

Every case manager, and any other employee who is designated by the director of any VASAP-certified local alcohol safety action program operated pursuant to this article to provide probation and related services, shall take an oath of office as prescribed in § 49-1, by a person authorized to administer oaths pursuant to § 49-3, before entering the duties of his office.
