2001 SESSION
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter 44, as amended, of the Acts of Assembly of 1937 is amended by adding a section numbered 18.1 as follows:
§ 18.1. Town Council, through its employees and agents at its official visitors' center, shall have the power to sell and vend to the general public items and articles of merchandise obtained from local vendors and merchants and other items that help promote the Town, tourism therein, and access to and awareness of the identities, locations and wares of vendors and merchants within the Town and near vicinity.
