SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Senate Rules; judicial nominations. Increases the responsibility of the Committee for Courts of Justice in the selection process of persons elected to the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Virginia Court of Appeals. In addition to qualifying candidates for these courts, the Committee will nominate qualified candidates for consideration by the Senate.
