SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; professional employee organizations. Requests the State Corporation Commission and the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission to study the professional employee organization industry in Virginia. The Commissions are directed to recommend whether Virginia should join the other states that have enacted legislation based on the NAIC Model Act that subjects professional employee organizations to registration and regulation, and whether any modifications to the Model Act would be appropriate in light of Virginia's existing laws and economy.
