SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Resolution; certified nurse aides. Requests the State Council of Higher Education to work with Virginia nursing schools to encourage students to obtain certified nurse aide credentials early in their nursing training to meet the anticipated shortage of nurse aides in future years as our population ages and demand for long-term care in nursing facilities increases.
