SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Sales tax exemption; Joy of Sports Foundation. Provides a sales and use tax exemption from July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, to a 501 (c) (3) organization, located within the boundaries of the Eighth Planning District established pursuant to § 15.2-4203, and (i) assisting children in developing self-esteem and academic and life skills through sports and physical play, (ii) educating the public about the power of sports in children's development, and (iii) providing educational materials on children and sports to parents and teachers.
