SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Possession of a firearm by persons subject to protective orders. Prohibits persons subject to protective orders from possessing firearms. Currently, such persons are not prohibited from possession of a firearm, but are prohibited from purchasing or transporting firearms while the order is in effect. Allows the court that issued a concealed weapons permit to suspend the permit while the protective order is in effect.
