SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Sales and use tax exemption; Coalition on Donation. Provides a sales and use tax exemption from July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, to a § 501 (c) (3) corporation addressing the nation-wide shortage of transplantable organs by promoting an increase in organ and tissue donation through campaigns in national print and broadcast media and community-based programs designed to educate the public about the virtues and benefits of organ and tissue donation.
