Running for multiple offices; names on ballots. Prohibits an individual from being on the ballot for more than two offices in any election.

Running for multiple offices; names on ballots. Prohibits an individual from being on the ballot for more than two offices in any election.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Running for multiple offices; names on ballots. Prohibits an individual from being on the ballot for more than one office in any election unless the law permits him to hold both offices and he intends to do so. Code § 2.1-37.01 now prohibits a person from holding any two elected offices at the same time with limited exceptions for certain shared offices and for a presidential elector who holds elected office.
