SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. Provides that the President of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Inc. will be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, replacing the position currently filled by the President of the Jamestown-Yorktown Educational Trust.
The Jamestown-Yorktown Educational Trust is a § 115 organization under the Internal Revenue Code, and its focus has shifted to concessions and other functions related to the Foundation. The Foundation, Inc., a § 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, and will assist in fund raising to support the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. This measure is identical to HB 645.
