SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Sales tax exemption; International Internship Programs. Provides a sales and use tax exemption from July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, to a 501 (c) (3) corporation, located within the Eighth Planning District established pursuant to § 15.2-4203, and providing cross-cultural and educational exchange programs, internships, and training seminars for students, teachers, and professionals, with emphasis on such exchange between Japan and the United States.
