SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; teacher peer review. Requests the Board of Education to study the feasibility and appropriateness of implementing a teacher peer review process in the Commonwealth. In conducting its study, the Board shall review, among other things, the current use of this process in the evaluation of Virginia public school teachers; application of peer review in other states; the potential implementation of a peer review process on a pilot project or other limited basis; and such other issues as it deems appropriate.
