SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Charter; City of Bristol. Adds a sixth member to the Bristol Virginia Utilities Board to be appointed from the membership of the Washington County Board of Supervisors. Also, the requirement that public property is to be sold by auction or an equivalent competitive procedure is replaced with authority to sell property by whatever means will most benefit the citizens of the city. The publication requirement for such sale is changed from four to two weeks. This bill is identical to SB 49.
