SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Transmission to school boards of records of founded complaints of child abuse and neglect. Requires the Department of Social Services to respond to requests by local school boards in cases where there is no match within the central registry of a founded complaint of child abuse or neglect regarding applicants for employment within 10 business days of receipt of such requests. In cases where there is a match within the central registry, the Department must respond within 30 business days. The response may be by first-class mail or facsimile transmission. This bill is identical to SB 691.
