SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Prohibiting license reinstatement until successful completion of ASAP. Provides that unless the court waives the requirement for completion of the program for good cause shown, DMV shall not return a suspended license to any person who has not completed ASAP (alcohol safety action program) and who was ordered to complete it pursuant to a DUI conviction. Any person who drives in violation of this provision is guilty of driving without a license (Class 2 misdemeanor).
