SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Sales and use tax exemption; Spectrum Theatre. Provides a sales and use tax exemption for purchases of tangible personal property and services by a federally tax-exempt nonprofit organization, from July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, which is organized to give students interested in acting, directing, and playwriting a chance to explore their talents in a professional setting; and to produce drama which speaks to current cultural issues such as discrimination and war.
