SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Contempt of court. Increases from $50 to $250 the maximum fine for contempt of court. The 1999 General Assembly increased the fine to $250 in two sections but overlooked this section. The bill is a recommendation of the Committee on District Courts. This bill is identical to SB 61.

Fine for contempt of court; penalty. Increases the fine for contempt of court in a district court from $50 to $250.
