SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Crime victims compensation; appeals. Lengthens the period, from 20 to 45 days, for a claimant to file for review by the Workers' Compensation Commission of a decision regarding a claim for benefits from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Review by the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. Expands the time from twenty to forty-five days within which a person may appeal to the Commission from a decision of the person to whom the claim for crime victim compensation was assigned.
