SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)

Virginia Innovative Remedial Education Pilot Program. Changes the date for which the first grant awards must be made to approved pilot programs to January 1, 2001, and makes technical changes. A second enactment clause repeals this law unless an appropriation to implement the grants program is provided in 2001 or 2002. This bill, as introduced, implemented a recommendation of the Joint Subcommittee on Remediation.
