SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Mass Transit Fund. Increases the percentage of funding from the Transportation Trust Fund to the Mass Transit Fund from 14.7 percent to 15.1 percent. The minimum amount of local matching funds required for the capital expenses associated with various types of mass transit projects is reduced from five percent to two percent. This is a recommendation of the Commission on the Condition and Future of Virginia's Cities.
