SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Charitable Gaming Commission; member expenses, notice of meetings, and open records. Provides that Commission members be paid and reimbursed for expenses at the rate of $50 a day, plus reasonable and necessary expenses. The bill also brings the governing statute of the Charitable Gaming Commission in line with the new Freedom of Information Act, and helps simplify FOI requests for information and records.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Charitable Gaming Commission; member expenses, notice of meetings, and open records.
Provides that Commission members be paid and reimbursed for expenses at the rate of $50 a day, plus reasonable and necessary expenses as provided in § 2.1-20.3 of the Virginia Code. The bill also brings the governing statute of the Charitable Gaming Commission in line with the new Freedom of Information Act, and helps simplify FOI requests for information and records.
