SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Sales and use tax exemption; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Provides a sales and use tax exemption for sales and purchases of a federally tax-exempt nonprofit organization, from July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, which is organized for the purposes of (i) aiding in the research, study, training, and dissemination of information with respect to the disease known as mucoviscidosis (otherwise known as cystic fibrosis) and related diseases; (ii) providing indirect patient services to victims of such diseases; and (iii) soliciting contributions to support research programs.
