SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

HOV lanes. Provides a mechanism by which certain vehicles with volunteer rescue squad member or firefighter special licenses can be exempted from vehicle occupancy requirements on HOV lanes in the 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, and 16^th planning districts, pending completion of the I-66 upgrade and Springfield “Mixing Bowl” Interchange reconstruction.
