005547408WHEREAS, John P. Beale was first elected Commissioner of the Revenue for Westmoreland in 1954; and
WHEREAS, John Beale continued serving as Commissioner of the Revenue until his retirement in 1999; and
WHEREAS, John Beale devoted 45 years of service with personal commitment, professionalism and leadership; and
WHEREAS, during his lifetime of service to Westmoreland County and in his work with the Commissioners of Revenue Association, John Beale has demonstrated dedication to the highest ideals of public service; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That John P. Beale be commended for his long and exemplary career of service to Westmoreland County; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to John P. Beale as an expression of the General Assembly's congratulations for a job well done and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
