Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the Department of Education is hereby authorized to lease to the R. E. Lee Camp No. 1, Soldiers Home Memorial, Inc. the property held by the Department of Education known as Fleming Hall, upon terms and conditions that the Department deems proper, and with the approval of the Governor and the Attorney General.

2. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute and deliver such lease or other documents as may be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.
