Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Virginia Public Building Authority Act (§ 2.1-234.10 through 2.1-234.28:1 et seq.), the Virginia Public Building Authority is hereby authorized to purchase, with the approval of the Governor and in a form approved by the Attorney General, for approximately $17 million, from Cherry Creek Properties, Inc. certain property located at 6900 Atmore Drive in the City of Richmond to wit: Beginning at a rod found on the northerly side of Atmore Drive at the intersection thereof with the easterly right-of-way of Chippenham Parkway as follows: North 34 degrees 05 minutes 45 seconds West 105.09 feet to a VDOT R/W monument found; with a curved line to the right, whose radius is 906.93 feet, whose tangent is 123.46 feet, and whose angle is 15 degrees 30 minutes 16 seconds, an arc distance of 245.42 feet to a VDOT R/W monument found; with a curved line to the right, whose radius is 13,387.16 feet, and whose tangent is 123.92 feet, and whose angle is 01 degrees 14 minutes 49 seconds, an arc distance of 247.83 feet to a rod found; thence leaving the easterly right-of-way of Chippenham Parkway, continue North 77 degrees 36 minutes 07 seconds East, 756.50 feet to a rod found; thence continue south 12 degrees 23 minutes 53 seconds East, 548.47 feet to a rod set on the northerly right-of-way of Atmore Drive; thence continue along the northerly right-of-way of Atmore Drive South 77 degrees 23 minutes 24 seconds West, 146.77 feet to a rod found; thence South 12 degrees 36 minutes 36 seconds East, 32.99 feet to a nail found; thence South 77 degrees 36 minutes 07 seconds West, 487.70 feet to the point of beginning, all as more fully shown on plat prepared by J. K. Timmons and Associates, P.C., by Kenneth M. Cox, Virginia Certified Land Surveyor No. 1039, dated November 8, 1988, last revised December 2, 1992, bearing Job No. 54007 and showing 9.438 acres of land.

The purchase shall be pursuant to an agreement between Cherry Creek Properties, Inc. and the Secretary of Finance and the Secretary of Public Safety.

2. That the appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute and deliver such documents as me be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.
