Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the state park encompassing 1804 acres situated on a peninsula of several thousand acres formed by the Pohick Bay on the north, the Belmont Bay on the south and the Potomac River on the east, which was opened to the public in April 1985 as Mason Neck State Park, shall hereinafter be named the Joseph V. Gartlan, Jr. State Park.
