RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the following persons are hereby nominated to be elected to the Court of Appeals of Virginia as follows:

The Honorable James W. Benton, Jr., of Richmond, as a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia for a term of eight years commencing January 1, 2001.

The Honorable Johanna L. Fitzpatrick, of Alexandria, as a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia for a term of eight years commencing September 1, 2000.
